I am happy to be apart of this amazing blog experience by Shev Mckenzie!

Here is a short timeline of my life. Ha! I was born in the early 90s to a wonderful father Errol and beautiful mother, Karen. I have 2 younger sisters by the names of Karena and Kijana. I was born in Queens and went to Hofstra University where I studied Psychology and Minored in Religion, for undergraduate studies and Mental Health Counseling for graduate studies.Shortly after, I married the most wonderful man that I have ever met in October 2016: Aliandrew Solomon (Ali for short). I thank God for him every day because he is not only loving but he loves Jesus. I currently work as a Director for a nonprofit organization for people with a serious mental illness.

I am proud to work with the population I serve. Enough about me, I would also like to share that I am a believer in Jesus Christ. He is the reason that I am alive and have a purpose. I am privileged to call him Savior and friend. Fun facts: I love purple, I love to sing and laugh, my favorite season is the fall, my nickname is Coco and I love sweet Plantains, avocado and Jamaican cornmeal porridge. 😊💕
