27 things I have learned in 27 years

1.Don’t feel guilty for resting. You should be able to take some time off without feeling bad about it.

2. Siblings are the greatest friends.

3. “A Different World” is the best show in the world!

4. Social media can wait! Savor the moment and post your photos later.

5. Dress for success, while maintaining your personal sense of style.

6. Friendships will fizzle out, but real friendships stand the test of time.

7. Even though you messed up the recipe on the first try, you should try it again.

8. Being genuinely happy for others is a plus.

9. Travel to places you are (actually) interested in.

10. Introvert does not mean “weak”.

11. Who you decide to marry does matter, so choose wisely.

12. Never stop dating your spouse and cherishing your love.

14. Knowing how to budget is one of the greatest skills you can have.

15. Go after your dreams in spite of the fear you feel.

19. Set boundaries. “If you avoid conflict to keep peace, you start a war within yourself”.

 

20. Make the most of the season that you are in. You don’t want to look back and regret rushing through it.

21. Speak the truth with love, it has a better effect.

22. Acknowledge your faults, sometimes you’re the toxic person.

23. Be comfortable in who you are. Don’t let anyone intimidate you for being different.

24. Don’t let others make you feel bad about the way God has blessed you.

25. Let go of comparison. It is the ultimate thief of joy.

26. Don’t be so hard on yourself, your best days are still to come.

27. Build a prayer life. Pray as if everything depends on God, not you.
